JEFF HISER, FOUNDER

Jeff's approach to college counseling is centered on connecting students with innovative programs that prepare them for life beyond college.

His story begins at the crossroads of athletic coaching and school counseling. As a former college athlete, he originally set out to become a coach while in graduate school, where he was an assistant men’s basketball coach at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI). While at RPI, he recruited student athletes from across the nation and was a member of the Liberty League Coaching Staff of the Year.

With an extensive network of admissions professionals, Jeff has been able to directly connect students with opportunities that align with their post-secondary goals and career aspirations for the past 15+ years.

His career stops in New York, Massachusetts, Texas, South Carolina, and Vermont have led to incredible networking opportunities in both the admissions and athletic realms.

With his Master’s Degree in Professional School Counseling paired with his experience as the founding Director of College Counseling at a startup high school in South Carolina, Jeff's passion for student development and success is demonstrated and strong.

While in Massachusetts, Jeff pioneered grant work to provide students with severe intellectual disabilities the opportunity to dual enroll at their local community college.

As a school counselor at the largest co-ed private school in the state of Texas, Jeff individually led hundreds of students and their families through academic, college, and career advising. While at Bishop Lynch High School, Jeff also led international students and their families through the college application process in addition to aspiring Division I, II, & III student-athletes.

Jeff is a father of two and he and his wife enjoy spending as much time as possible outdoors with the kids, where they reside in Round Rock, TX.
